how unfortunate

in that movie, office space, the main character, peter, says that every day is the worst day of his life. and that is how i feel about the state of affairs in the world today. every day seems to get worse, and what little progress is getting made all over the world in no way makes up for all of the horrible crap that happens every single day. do you think i should see a shrink? i am losing hope in the goodness of people and especially of the people in this country. are we all getting dumber? or less compassionate? i dont even know what it means to be american anymore. i dont understand american "democracy". i hope i am not depressing you, reader, but its how im feeling these days.

this is our lovely mate, tach, standing by a wonderful skate spot at todd alan printing (a print shop) somewhere in maryland or virginia or something like that. harry, tach, and the rest of their classmates visited this printing press a couple of weeks ago. how very interesting. more print shop photos to come soon.

the day before labor day we spent partying at the place where devin was house-sitting. it was just lovely. today was a long long long day at work, but coming home was nice and now we are hanging out with devin. harry as been hard at work on his final projects for school, which, i must say are coming out beautifully.

in other news, we got a new printer, we are going to rosh hashanah services at a new temple this week, and tomorrow we vote in our local primary elections. harry finally officially quit his home depot job, and in the process discovered that his stupid old boss is no longer working with home depot. he probably got fired. he was jerk.
